Norris Surveillance Video of the Month

Caught in the act!

You know that Norris is your Northern New England single source for all things life safety and security. We want to help keep you and your people safe.

Send us a request. We’ll gladly come out to your office, store, or campus, conduct a survey, and provide you with a free estimate for systems we can integrate to most effectively help keep you safe. However, sometimes helping to keep you safe means keeping you safe from your own people.

The woman in this month’s video saw an opportunity to try and fake an injury (ironically, from a piece of life-safety equipment) and cash in on workers’ comp. Unfortunately for her (but fortunately for her employer), she didn’t notice the nearby camera set up to monitor her area. The camera caught her attempt at fraud and the employer was saved from having to pay out on her bogus claim. The fire alarm installation company was probably also saved a lawsuit from the employer.

Please enjoy this months surveillance video, Caught in the Act!

It’s a sad truth that not all people are hardworking and honest. Sometimes people will try to take advantage of a situation and work the system to their benefit.

At times like those, Norris can help with a free survey followed by an expertly-designed surveillance system.
