In recent news from the New York Times, there’s an increasing menace breaking into New York businesses lately.

The story fro the NYT details a brazen broad-daylight break-in through a salon window. 

According to the report, the perp–a rather large male deer, known as a buck–is still at large after wandering into the populated area and crashing through the large glass storefront.

Thankfully, no one was hurt, though a hairstyling tool was reportedly taken. 

Patrons and employees were shocked as the frightened animal crashed through the glass, ran into the employee breakroom and then returned back through the salon and out the front door.

An increasing deer population is thought to be partly to blame.

“It was huge,” said the owner of the salon. “I was freaking out.”
