Norris Incorporated on October 4th played host to Assa Abloy’s traveling iOS2 Mobile Showroom.

Assa’s Integrated Solutions Specialist for Assa Bloy Door Security Solutions us, Chris Masse said the event rolls out to partner sites to let customers know the importance of Integrated Solutions.

“We bring our mobile showroom around the country to our security solution partners like Norris,”  Masse said. “This mobile showroom covers our security continuum. The story we tell every day to our customers. We highlight the many solutions Assa Abloy offers to our customers in order to meet the many needs and demands in any given facility.”

Masse was joined by Rick Holtsberry and Chris Beebe from Door Security Solutions of New England (AssaAbloy). The trio parked their Mobile Showroom in the parking lot at Norris home base in South Portland.

Norris VP of sales and marketing Peter Reed said the event was a good opportunity to learn more about some of the many different technological measures at their disposal.

“The purpose was to expose Norris security consultants and technicians to the wide variety of electronic access control solutions available within the AssaAbloy portfolio. Products displayed included solutions ranging from traditional to IP with WiFi connectivity; offline locks and eCylinders with audit trail capability; and key management systems,” Reed said. “As security consultants, we often get used to tackling client needs/concerns in specific ways. It’s nice to be reminded of the many options available and additional markets to pursue.”

Norris knows that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to Security Solutions. Every customer has a unique set of needs, demands, and expectations. Contact a Norris Life Safety and Security expert today and find out how we can help keep you safe.

Assa’s Masse backed that sentiment up.

“There are no one-size-fits-all solutions in access control applications,” Masse said. “We offer many solutions that meet customers’ needs, ranging from mechanical keying, electronic cylinders, standalone, wireless, Wi-Fi, PoE, and online solutions to meet desired budget goals.”

Reed said the hope was to bring the Mobile Showroom back and invite clients and all of the architect and engineering pros Norris works with.

“This was a first for the IOS2 Mobile Showroom visit – but we hope to bring it back again next summer with a little more advanced notice,” Reed said. ” I would love to give our clients and folks from the A&E community an opportunity to see it. It’s well worth the time spent!

Reed was joined by a number of other Norris technical experts and sales staff, including Jeff Hinckley, Schyler Gagnon, John Wolfe, Jim Allmon, Chris Small, Dame Diette, and Justin Van Leer for the event. Plus another dozen folks from the home office who enjoyed the cookout and small talk!
