This month we’ve covered ways to ensure that you are prepared for an emergency or disaster, so it is only fitting that we round out the month with a September Surveillance Video of the Month that shows what can happen in an event that you are under prepared for.
Today’s video comes from a surveillance camera in Taiwan when Typhoon Meranti brought wind speeds of up to 230 mph, causing power outages for over 260,000 households and forced many people to evacuate their homes.
Even with warnings that came to stay inside, there are always a few people, like the one in the video below, who will unwisely venture out.
Though this person appears to be unharmed, it is safe to say that they probably regretted their decision to go outside in the storm.
